Paul Wall is Houston royalty — the People's Champ whose platinum major-label debut produced 'Sittin' Sidewayz,' who rode shotgun on Mike Jones' 'Still Tippin',' and whose 'Grillz' verse made him a household name far beyond Texas. Two decades on, he remains a road-tested live act carrying the Swishahouse tradition: chopped-and-screwed heritage, car-culture anthems, and a catalog built for crowd call-and-response. Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom puts that show in Denver's most hip-hop-literate room, in the heart of Five Points.
